A CBS news report looks backs at Kon - Tiki Museum's photo of how the tiki nation in Polynesia was settled and its relation to South America.The photo was a balsa-wood raft which has traveled 4,100 miles across the Pacific Ocean from Peru to the South Pacific. It was Thor Heyerdahl's way to prove a theory that ancient South American seafares used the ocean currents to reach the west, and latter settled in.
