Tiki, in some cultures, is referred to as a male figure in the Polynesian myth, identified as the main. It is often represented by wooden or stone carvings as an image of a Polynesian god.

In Hawaii, Tikis are hand carved spiritual figures with big mouths and usually have menacing expressions to drive evils away.

There are also different Tikis which has distinctive roles, like Tiki-auaha, the progenitor of humankind.
