Beware of Tiki

Hanapaaoa is located on the north shore of Hiva Oa (second largest island in Marquesas), it's one of the island's most sacred ancient temple which could be reached by climbing loose volcanic rocks

Lots of tiki artifacts and can be found on this site. But if ever you came across with one don't ever take it touch it. According to locals, someone did actually attempted to take one for his house, and when this fellow's wife came home, she screamed cause she saw her husband's face like it was melting. So beware, it could be a tiki curse.
